Candidates from all of the countries of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) will be considered for selection. The inaugural Programme was launched in Trinidad & Tobago in October 2005, and in the following countries in May 2006: Barbados; Guyana; Jamaica and The OECS (The sub-region will be considered collectively, and include Grenada, St Kitts & Nevis, Monstserrat, Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, St. Lucia and St. Vincent & The Grenadines).
Eligible Countries
The Foundation anticipates expanding the Programme in future years, to bring greater focus to the Bahamas, Belize, Suriname and Haiti, and eventually the CARICOM Associate Member States of Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, The Cayman Islands and the Turks & Caicos Islands.
